Word for the day “This life isn’t easy”

28 Dec

Job 14:1 (KJV) “Man who is born of woman Is of few days and full of trouble.

Approximately a few seconds outside the womb I think we all discover that this life isn’t easy. And it seems that the older we get the tougher it becomes. Some people have problems or are attracted to difficulties. Others of us make it through life with relatively little difficulty.

But most likely, we all face some tough times in life, and it’s not important how your challenges stack up to the challenges of others. Sometimes you might wonder if you are going to be able to make it through, and you will if you hold onto God. Our God has promised to see you through. Are you weighed down? Do you feel overcome with grief or alone in your struggle?

Point to ponder- Remember, believing in God and in Jesus Christ doesn’t mean you won’t have problems. But it does mean you have resources, people, and God’s Spirit who will see you through your problems. We are on to something with God!

Our Leadership team is especially thankful for those of you who provided financial donations and support in the month of December 2016 by partnering with us in efforts to advance the kingdom of God in this 21st century season: Special thanks to Mr. William Wilson, Ms. Rita McGuffin, Ms. Mable Bazemore, and Ms. Gertrude Scott. Why don’t you take the opportunity to write us on our blog and let us know how we are doing in serving you Great people, we’d love to hear from you!
